Our History
Adam Hayes was set up during the economic downturn of 2009 by the two founders of the company, alongside a part time secretary, a self-employed mortgage advisor, and a tight financial budget.
Over the years we have gained a strong market presence that specialises in a range of property services including Residential and Commercial Sales and Lettings, Property Management, and Financial Services.
Today we have three thriving high street offices, in North Finchley, East Finchley and Finchley Central. Our philosophy of continually improving the way we operate has been fundamental in our growth and has allowed us to establish ourselves as a credible agent within our industry. This has been achieved by working with our clients and anticipating their every need allowing us to provide an outstanding level of customer service by offering a personal, professional, and respectful approach to everyone we engage with.
Our company is built on three core values, being Progressive, Dependable and Committed, which prominently features in all three of our offices and has allowed us to establish ourselves as one of the leading independent Estate Agents in London.
With a high number of our competitors closing due to the tough economic climate, our proactive approach, hard work and embracement of innovative technology has catapulted us to become a market leader in North London.
In 2014 as our team and market share grew we were able to open our second interlinked office in East Finchley which also covers Hampstead Garden Suburb, Muswell Hill and Highgate.
We appreciate that buying and selling properties is an extremely personal skill but operating with a ‘people-first’ approach and founded on good old-fashioned customer service, we aim to provide the highest levels of service to make buying property in North London as enjoyable, stress free and rewarding as possible.

In 2019 we realised that our North Finchley office was too small for our busy operation, so we decided to expand even further by acquiring a large Freehold building on the High Road of North Finchley, which comprised of a large 1500sq ft shop and uppers which soon became our new flagship home.
The office provided us with a prominent position on the High Road and allowed us to push forwards with our goal of reaching more people. Our glass boardroom would help create a relaxed environment for our staff training sessions and gives our clients the privacy of discussing sensitive information. We also offer access to certain charities to make useof our boardroom as an additional local meeting room should the need arise.
As our office grew as did our Adam Hayes Family which rapidly increased our team from eight to twelve full time staff members. This in turn created more healthy competition within our team and made our offices an exciting and fun place to work with every member pushing to be the best by securing as many sales as they could for our satisfied customers and increasing our company’s market share within the area.
During the lockdown of 2020 we continued to grow and strived to secure our third office in Finchley Central which opened in March 2021. We now employ 15 full time members of staff and are proud of our excellent reputation of being hardworking, honest and ethical.
Our new office has given us the opportunity to create a Land & New Homes Department, which aims to build relationships with developers possessing the ability to not only source new sites for them, but to also sell and let their future developments.
We have refined the way we do business and have developed a reputation for achieving great results for our clients through our intimate local know-how and our highly effective and connected office network.
